Who tested it

AQC Labs, Indore. NABL accredited, operating to ISO 17025. Report numbers AQC/2526/03/05/49180 and AQC/2526/03/05/49206, issued to our milling partner, Rajlakshmi Javiks International.

The laboratory is independent of CressPure and of the mill. We do not choose the results and we do not choose which of them to publish.

Why the other grains number matters most

An atta can legally contain up to 6% of grains other than the one on the front of the pack. That is not a loophole, it is a practical allowance, because most mills buy what the market offers in a given week and even it out. Ours is one wheat variety, bought as a single wheat, so there is nothing else to find. The report says so rather than us.

How to read a report like this yourself

You do not have to take our reading of it. How to read a lab test report for atta and wheat walks through what each section means, what a detection limit is, and which numbers are worth your attention on any report, from any brand.

Frequently asked

Does every batch get tested?

A sealed sample goes to the laboratory before a batch is listed for sale. The batch number printed on your pack ties it to a specific mill run.

Why publish the report at all?

Because a claim on a pack is a claim, and a report is evidence. If we are asking for more than the atta beside us on the shelf, the burden is ours.

Where do I find the batch number?

Printed on the pack alongside the packing date. Eight things worth checking on any atta pack shows where to look.
